California Privacy Disclosure

This notice supplements the WSS Sports Shoes Privacy Policy and explains privacy choices for California residents. Statutory rights apply where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, applies. You may contact us about privacy choices regardless of where you live.

1. Information and sources

The categories relevant to our store include identifiers and contact details; order, payment-status and shopping records; online identifiers, browser and device details, browsing interactions and approximate location inferred from IP address; and information in customer-service messages or reviews. We obtain information from you, your use of the website, and providers involved in payments, delivery, security, marketing and analytics.

Our main Privacy Policy explains the purposes, recipients and retention criteria. These include completing purchases and returns, providing support, protecting transactions, keeping required records, and operating marketing and analytics subject to applicable choices.

2. Disclosure, sale and sharing

We disclose information needed by ecommerce, payment, fulfilment, delivery, support and other service providers. We may also disclose information to professional advisers or authorities where appropriate.

We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising disclosures of online identifiers, activity and related information to partners such as Google or Meta may nevertheless be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under California law. Not receiving money does not by itself establish compliance. Essential processing for payment, security and delivery is distinct from advertising sharing.

3. Your rights

Where applicable, you can request information about our collection, use and disclosure of personal information, obtain a copy, request deletion or correction, opt out of sale or sharing, and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. Legal exceptions may apply. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

4. Make a request or opt out

Use Your Privacy Choices for the available website opt-out control, read Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, or email admin@wsssportsshoes.com with your request. Our Privacy Requests page also provides contact routes.

You do not need an account, an order number, proof of purchase or identity verification to submit a sale/sharing opt-out. We may ask for the information needed to identify the data or account to which the choice applies. For access, correction or deletion, proportionate verification may be needed to protect your information. An authorised agent may act for you; we may ask for evidence of their authority as applicable.

Sale/sharing opt-outs are processed as soon as feasible and no later than 15 business days. For applicable access, deletion or correction requests, we normally respond within 45 days and explain any permitted extension. We explain any refusal or limitation.

5. Browser choices

The Shopify-powered Your Privacy Choices page describes browser/device opt-outs and Global Privacy Control (GPC). The availability of controls can depend on your location. A browser choice may need to be repeated on other devices. Contact us if a control is unavailable or you need help applying an account-level request.

6. Retention and further information

Information is retained according to the purpose, required records and outstanding disputes described in our Privacy Policy. We keep a limited record where needed to honour an opt-out. California residents may also contact us about disclosures covered by California's “Shine the Light” law.
